A 19th-century house, once home to middle-class Lisbon families, whose central location allowed easy access to workplaces, schools, and traditional markets. The name LX51 is an ode to the city's well-known abbreviation and the number identifying the house's door. In this accommodation unit, with studios, suites, and rooms, we seek to create an intimate and relaxed atmosphere, combining and honoring the tradition of an old Lisbon building with contemporary industrial-style decor.
AN INTIMATE SPACE
Restored in 2018 and adapted into accommodation, we sought to maintain the traditional features of old Lisbon. The wooden staircases and corridors, brought from the colonies, the entrance area in Portuguese stone, the interior courtyard and the facade with its characteristic balconies, where families enjoyed sunny afternoons while watching the hustle and bustle of passersby.

Enjoy a buffet breakfast, full of authentic, fresh, and local products, carefully selected to start your day right. Our bread is handcrafted in a small village near Sintra, following traditional methods.
